This Self-Centering Doweling Jig is built from sturdy steel and aluminum, with a maximum thickness capacity of 2.1 inches. It clamps directly to your workpiece for precise right-angle drilling, offering a combination of strength, simplicity, and accuracy. The jig is ideal for making accurate dowel-strengthened butt joints, miter joints, and edge joints.

The splint on both sides of the doweling jig is manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with an anodized surface, while the clamp body is made of 45 steel after heat treatment, providing higher strength and resistance to deformation. The holes are precisely perpendicular and located in the exact center of the block, allowing for secure and even clamping. The engraved line with a large viewing window on either side is used for direct alignment at the center, making installation and drilling very easy and accurate.

The clamping range of the dowel jig is 0.4 inches to 2.1 inches, allowing it to be used on boards of different thicknesses. It has a great grip and can align the dowels accurately on the boards, making it suitable for creating shelves, cabinets, tables, chairs, and mounting railings.
